Quarryfield Labyrinth.
May we walk with grace And may the light Of the universe Shine upon our path
The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol used as a walking meditation to assist us in finding peace, managing stress, making decisions, and healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Found in varied traditions throughout history, the Labyrinth has recently been revived as a healing and restorative tool that crosses cultural and religious boundaries. As a circular symbol, the Labyrinth is an archetypal image that represents wholeness, healing, inclusiveness, and community. Walking the Labyrinth allows us to focus our thoughts and gain clarity and insight about our personal and professional lives. The Labyrinth has the ability to quiet the mind, soothe the soul, and mend the heart. The Labyrinth can also provide the opportunity to re-vision goals, assess talents and abilities, make decisions, and evaluate progress. ................................................................................................ Walking The Labyrinth There is no right way to walk the Labyrinth path. There is one path in and out, and there are no decisions to be made as to which way to turn. Labyrinth Blessing
As we each tread our own path through the labyrinth may we deepen our understanding of ourselves, and our journey. As we reach the labyrinths centre, the one point of stillness may the dazzling light of insight, from beyond our sense of self, arise And when we leave the labyrinth, this place of light may we let light shine clear through us and may others tread their path here, and may they too feed the flame.
